At VidConMods, we offer repair and modification services to Video Game Systems as well as iPhones. We offer modchip installations for the Nintendo Wii, PS2 and we also do firmware flashes on XBox360 Consoles and PSPs and PS3s. All mods have a lifetime warranty on the install work! Which means if a wire pops off or something else install related pops up, I will repair the problem at no cost to yourself for the lifetime of your console!! This applies to all "Soldered-In Chips). What is a Modchip and what is a Firmware Flash?

Simply put, a Mod Chip is a chip that is soldered inside the console which gives your console the ability to play copied games. This is Legal in Canada providing you already own a copy of the game. A Firmware flash is how the XBox360 is able to read copied games. Basically there are no chips and no soldering required. Instead, your XBox360 Drive has a controller chip that can have it's code over-written to accept copied games. BOTH modding formats void any manufacturer warranty.
